Preferences > Notifications > Sound & appearance. If no VIP sound is set, it will use your default notification sound. - Upgraded VIP Unreads Section: The header menu in the “VIP unreads” section of your sidebar will now show your 20 most recently read VIP items, making it easy to find recent conversations.
- New VIP Unreads Pill: A new notification “pill” will appear for out-of-view VIP unreads. Clicking it will scroll your sidebar directly to the first unread VIP message.
Lists
Major Upgrade to Lists for Task Management Get ready for three new features in Lists, designed to supercharge task management based on your feedback!
- Default Task Tracking Fields: When you create a new list, it will now automatically include Assignee, Due Date, and Completed fields. If you assign a task, it automatically gets added to that person’s “Assigned to you” view.
- Subtasks: You can now break larger tasks into smaller, more manageable subtasks, complete with their own assignees and due dates.
- Programmatic Reminders: Easily set up alerts for assignees on upcoming or overdue items, or post a summary in a channel for team-wide visibility.
